Programme Details

Graduates entering today’s workforce are expected to demonstrate strong data literacy, including the ability to interpret dashboards, analyse large datasets, and work with tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Collaboration with AI technologies is increasingly essential, from effective prompting and evaluating outputs to integrating AI into everyday workflows. Cybersecurity awareness is also critical, even in non-technical roles, as organisations prioritise data protection and compliance.

Modern workplaces require confidence with digital communication platforms, project management tools, and cloud-based collaboration environments. As remote and hybrid work continue to grow, employers value graduates who can work effectively in virtual teams, demonstrate professional digital etiquette, and take ownership of their own learning. Adaptability and a growth mindset are key, as continuous upskilling is essential in response to rapidly evolving technologies. All of these skills are embedded throughout this programme.

At the end of this programme, you will be able to:

  • Demonstrate contemporary and specialised knowledge across the core areas of business, management, and administration, enabling independent professional judgement.
  • Critically analyse qualitative and quantitative business information relevant to the digital age to support effective decision-making.
  • Apply established digital business skills, tools, and techniques to research activities and problem-solving in both predictable and unpredictable contexts.
  • Manage defined business functions and processes within broad parameters, demonstrating competencies aligned with modern digital business environments.
  • Evaluate and apply effective interpersonal and supervisory skills, taking responsibility for personal performance and the work of others to ensure high standards of professional quality and integrity.
  • Demonstrate personal autonomy through reflective practice and a commitment to ethical, legal, and social responsibility within contemporary business settings.

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  • NCQF Level 4 Certificate IV in General Education, such as the Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE) or International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), with a minimum of six subjects at grade C or above, including English and Mathematics;

  • or
